US Airways (IATA Code: US) is a U.S. airline based in Tempe, Ariz. It operates domestic hubs at Philadelphia (PHL), Charlotte (CLT) and Phoenix(PHX). While not a full-fledged hub, Washington/National (DCA) is an important focus city for the airline servicing 16 mainline destinations. PHL is the airline's primary international gateway.
US is a leading U.S. carrier on the east coast, with coverage of much of the USA, and a close partnership with United Airlines. US — along with fellow domestic airlines UA and Continental Airlines — is a member of the Star Alliance. The airline's frequent flyer program, Dividend Miles, offers four levels of elite stats: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Chairman's Preferred.
