Enroll online for an instant membership number and password, call service center or pick up an application form at a reservations office, airport or inflight.

Earn with first mileage activity earned through flying. Amount varies by paid class (economy, business, first). This is only earned if you fly WITHIN 6 months of enrollment so do not just join for the sake of a new shiny card. I am not aware how strict they are with this.
Just a tip-don't take any chances, make sure you are ready to book before joining.

Must be at least 16 years of age to join. Young flyers between the ages of two and 15 are invited to join Skywards Skysurfers and may enjoy all of the benefits of Skywards membership.

Members with mileage balances near an award threshold are able to purchase miles to add to their remaining balance and redeem them for award travel in conjunction with a booked itinerary. The minimum purchase is 2,000 miles at US2.5 cents per mile: 2,000 miles = US$50; 5,000 miles = US$125; 10,000 miles = US$250. Not available in India and Pakistan.
