[edit] Domestic Flights with EnhAAnced Seats
AA has several domestic flights with unusual opportunities for enhanced seating. These include:
- Domestic flights with Next Generation Business Class seats (772, 763, 75L)
- Domestic flights with Flagship Suites (772)
- Domestic flights on 3-class aircraft (772, 762) where seats in the Business Class (J) cabin are sold as Economy (Y) and available for pre-selection by AA elites and full fare passengers; a.k.a. "3 class sold as 2 class" flights

[edit] Domestic 75L Flights with Next Generation Business Class Seats
You can confirm if a 757 flight is scheduled for NGBC (75l sub-type) by pulling up a seatmap for first (or business) class: if the 757 cabin has 4 rows, then it's a 75L with NGBC.
Flights within North America that are scheduled to have Next Generation Business Class seats (NGBC) have been reported by MAH4546 here (with a few corrections applied by hillrider) and are as follows:

Equipment substitutions happen all the time, and an NGBC seat is not guaranteed, so expect an old seat and be pleasantly surprised if you get an NGBC one. Similarly, you may get an NGBC seat on a domestic flight even if you were scheduled for an old one.
Reminder: all 757 flights to/from outside the Americas have NGBC seats.
