Car Rental Awards

  • 3,500 points = US$50 voucher valid for applying to one rental with either Avis or Sixt.

Starpoints to Airline Miles

Amtrak:

  • 1 points = one Amtrak Guest Rewards point.

Frequent Flyer Miles: Note: A minimum of 2,500 points is required for each conversion to frequent flyer miles if SPG general member. Preferred Guest Gold members have 1,500 points minimum transfer. Preferred Guest Platinum members have no minimum transfer requirement.

When members transfer 20,000 points, they earn an additional 5,000 frequent flyer miles (or equivalent in points). For most airlines, 99,999 points may be transfered per year.

Nights & Flights Award:

  • 60,000 points = 50,000 airline miles and five nights at a Category 3 hotel.
  • 70,000 points = 50,000 airline miles and five nights at a Category 4 hotel.

Upgrade Awards

Note: A Specialty 1 upgrade is defined as a Club Room, Westin Guest Office, Corporate Club Room, Smart Room, or a room on a floor that may include Club Lounge Services or Concierge Services. In some resort locations, upgraded rooms will be based on preferred view or room style offered. Not available at all resorts. A Specialty 2 upgrade is based on hotel category. In some resort locations, will be based on preferred view or room style offered. Not available at all resorts.

  • 1,000 points = Specialty 1 upgrade for categories 1-4.
  • 1,500 points = Specialty 2 upgrade for categories 1-4.
  • 1,500 points = Specialty 1 upgrade for categories 5-6; some hotels in this category require 1,750 points.
  • 2,500 points = Specialty 2 upgrade for categories 5-6; some hotels in this category require 2,750 points.
  • 3,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 1 hotel.
  • 4,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 2 hotel.
  • 7,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 3 hotel.
  • 10,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 4 hotel.
  • 12,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 5 hotel; some hotels in this category require 16,000 points in peak season periods.
  • 20,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 6 hotel; some hotels in this category require 25,000 points in peak season periods.
  • 30,000 points = suite upgrade in a category 7 hotel; some hotels in this category require 35,000 points in peak season periods.

  • 7,000 points = one night at a category 3 hotel.
  • 10,000 points = one night at a category 4 hotel.
  • 12,000 points = one night at a category 5 hotel (low season)
  • 16,000 points = one night at a category 5 hotel (high season)
  • 20,000 points = one night at a category 6 hotel (low season)
  • 25,000 points = one night at a category 6 hotel (high season)
  • 28,000 points = five nights at a category 3 hotel.
  • 30,000 points = one night at a category 7 hotel (low season)
  • 35,000 points = one night at a category 7 hotel (high season)
  • 40,000 points = five nights at a category 4 hotel.
  • 48,000 points = five nights at a category 5 hotel (low season)
  • 64,000 points = five nights at a category 5 hotel (high season)
  • 80,000 points = five nights at a category 6 hotel (low season)
  • 100,000 points = five nights at a category 6 hotel (high season)
  • 120,000 points = five nights at a category 7 hotel (low season)
  • 140,000 points = five nights at a category 7 hotel (high season)
