How to redeem

To request an award ticket or award certificate, redeem online or call the service center or reservations. You will need your Delta PIN. Some fees may apply. Award redemption is available at most ticket offices and airport ticket locations. Members may also claim an award certificate by mail or fax to service center. Include your name, program account number, telephone number, award code, mileage required and signature.

How long it takes

Awards will be processed within 15 business days from the date received.

Where tickets are issued

Delta ticket locations or mailed to member's address on file.

Expedited Award Delivery

Rapid Redemption: Members may redeem at most Delta/Delta Connection ticket counters or Delta city ticket offices for a per ticket US$75 fee. Rapid Redemption service is available for award travel on Delta, Delta Connection and partner airlines and is immediate. Some fees may apply for Rapid Redemption of upgrade travel. For award certificates/tickets expedited in less than 72 hours: US$75 per ticket fee (E-ticketing only); 3-14 days: US$50 per account fee (US$25 per account elite-level members).

Transferability of Awards

Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate. The member must present the certificate to any Delta/Delta Connection ticketing facility and complete the information required on the certificate in the issuing agent's presence. A member may request that an award ticket be issued to another individual at the time reservations are made in.

Changing an Award

Change to origin, destination and stopover points: Allowed before or after commencement of travel for a US$100 fee. Redepositing award certificates or tickets: US$100 fee per certificate or ticket for general members and US$75 for current elite-level members.

PURCHASED UPGRADES

Note: Use one 500-mile Upgrade Point for every 500 miles flown.

US$160 or 25,000 miles = four 500-mile Upgrade Points.US$50 = one 500-mile Upgrade Point.
