How to redeem
To request an award certificate; redeem online (excluding vacation packages) or mail, email or fax a completed award request form from most recent activity statement to the service center. Include your signature, travel date(s) and daytime phone number on all requests. Members may also phone the service center and verify specific account information. To redeem certificate for hotel stays, call reservations in advance and state intention to use a Marriott Rewards hotel certificate, then present certificate and photo I.D. upon check-in; or redeem points online. To redeem certificate for a flight, call the airline partner's reservation number and identify yourself as a Marriott Rewards member traveling on an award certificate. The certificate number, award code and any other pertinent information must be provided at the time of booking before reservations can be confirmed.
How long it takes
Awards will be processed within 10 business days within the U.S. or four weeks outside the U.S.. Expedited request: US$15 fee.
Where tickets are issued
Mailed to member's address on file.
Expedited Award Delivery
Three-business-day processing and delivery: US$35 fee for domestic awards; US$50 fee for international awards.
Transferability of Awards
Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate.
Changing an Award
Changing name: Once issued, awards cannot be transferred. Changing award: Return unused award certificate along with US$30 fee (US$20 fee for elite-level members) to the service center. Include a letter requesting a different award code. Redepositing points: Return unused award certificate along with US$30 fee (US$20 fee for elite-level members) to the service center. Include a letter requesting that your points be redeposited.
