Air Canada

Air Canada (IATA Code: UA) is Canada's largest airline, founded in 1936 as Trans-Canada Airlines, a member of Star Alliance. Its largest domestic operations are at Toronto's Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), and the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Air Canada's largest operations outside Canada are at the Star Alliance hubs of London Heathrow (LHR), Frankfurt (FRA) and Tokyo Narita (NRT).

Air Canada co-operates closely, and offers code-share flights with, Star Alliance partners United Airlines (including Continental Airlines) and Lufthansa.

Air Canada's loyalty program, Aeroplan was launched in 1984.
